There was an upset when bottom-ranked MoldovanAdmirals (0-4) were defeated by twentieth ranked Slovakian TEAM 7 (5-7) 87-75 on Saturday. TEAM 7 forced 23 Admirals turnovers. Strangely Admirals outrebounded TEAM 7 46-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. Lukas Kulcar stepped up and scored 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Frenkel Harel chipped in 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four TEAM 7 players scored in double figures. TEAM 7's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Nicolae Morari responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Samuel Garabet scored 21 points. TEAM 7 have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Despite that victory TEAM 7 went down to 51th position due to points difference. Loser Admirals still keep top with four games lost. They share the position with 8 other teams.
